What are Comments and History?
Through the use of Comments, you can communicate with members working on a campaign and/or its campaign objects (advertisements, flights). You may also upload asset to the Asset Drawer through a comment.
History is a system-generated list of events occurring on a campaign and/or its campaign objects.
Where Can I Access Comments and History?
A Comments and History panel is available on the campaign and all its campaign objects and is specific to that campaign object. So, for example, you may add a comment on an advertisement that will only be viewable on that advertisement and will not appear at the campaign level.

Who Can See Comments?
Comments can be added to a campaign, an advertisement, or a flight either through the corresponding Comments panel or during a workflow transition. Any member who can see that campaign, advertisement or flight can also see their comments. In addition, Campaign Manager supports limiting who can see comments. These visibility options include:
Everyone: Grant comment visibility to anyone with access to a campaign by leaving the visibility field empty.
Teams: By default, all your teams will be able to view your comments. Add or remove teams as appropriate.
Specific Members: Grant comment visibility to specific team members by adding the members' names.
Use the comment visibility to target who can access comments. For example, you may combine options to grant visibility to everyone on one of your teams and only a handful of members from another team.
To Add a Campaign Comment:
Navigate to Comments Tab of the desired campaign object
For campaign-level comments:
Click Campaign Manager in Primary Menu > Click Dashboard in Secondary Menu > Select desired Campaign > Expand Comments & History panel
For advertisement-level comments:
Click Campaign Manager in Primary Menu > Click Dashboard in Secondary Menu > Select desired Campaign > Expand Advertisements panel > Select desired Ad > Expand Comments & History panel
For flight-level comments:
Click Campaign Manager in Primary Menu > Click Dashboard in Secondary Menu > Select desired Campaign > Expand Flights panel > Select desired Flight > Expand Flights panel
Click the Add Comments & Files link
Add a comment
Set the comment's visibility
If desired, attach asset(s) to the comment (Note: this assets will be available throughout the campaign)
Who Can See the History?
A History trail is maintained for any activity occurring on a campaign, an advertisement, or a flight. Any member who can see that campaign, advertisement or flight can also see its History. However, the History trail on a campaign will only display notices about campaign objects to which a user has rights. So, for example, if a user is allowed to view Advertisement A but not B, the History visible to that user on the Campaign Overview will only display a history of Advertisement A.
To View a History Trail:
Navigate to Comments & History panel of the desired campaign object
For campaign-level comments:
Click Campaign Manager in Primary Menu > Click Dashboard in Secondary Menu > Select desired Campaign > Expand Comments & History panel
For advertisement-level comments:
Click Campaign Manager in Primary Menu > Click Dashboard in Secondary Menu > Select desired Campaign > Expand Advertisements panel > Select desired Ad > Expand Comments & History panel
For flight-level comments:
Click Campaign Manager in Primary Menu > Click Dashboard in Secondary Menu > Select desired Campaign > Expand Flights panel > Select desired Flight > Expand Flights panel
